if theres any livestock in the tank it will cause problems as it will cause ammonia and nitrite to spike, i would add it very slowly about 5 kilo,s over a space of 3-4 weeks

it will be fine im always adding new rock in about 20kgs a time , it will be fine as long as it is cured

If it is fully cured it should not cause any problems.

You need to be certain it is fully cured and equally you need to ensure the transport time is as short as possible. Go for the really pink stuff from somewhere like stm I can certainly vouch for the quality of their live rock especially the ultra grade stuff its fantastic.

I would not add 20 kilos in one hit though go for 5 kilos at a time and monitor parameters carefully. Even with the best stuff you get fluctuations.

Ship it in water if you can you will get little or no die off then, if you ship it wrapped you will get some die off.
