I have 2 baggani/emperor cardinals and from what I have been told the male is carrying eggs in his mouth! Ie not eating, puffed mouth and a frequent yawning motion! What is the best way to get them out and away to safety?
I have been told to try cocktail sticks in a ping pong ball to act like an urchin, does this work? I was going to do that then move them into my algae sump where they will be free from preditors! I didnt want to get an urchin as I was told they can eat soft corals etc and they can destroy things in the tank, do they? Where can I pick up tips and tricks to help me? Thanks for your time! |

Hi i don't know much about breeding them it seem a good idea about the ping pong ball and cocktail sticks . i was also wondering if you are sucessful in breeding the cardinals will you be selling them as i have been after tank breed one for ages and can't get them from anywhere if so where are you located thanks jason |

Hi Jason I have tried the ping pong ball idea and that didnt work unfortunately! So I will have to look at getting an urchin and trying that next time they are breeding! If I have any success then I will let you know! I am in the Bristol area |
