hi all,
have just been given a copperband and just wanted to know if they suffer stress like regal tangs.
i know not to use a net when capturing them, but do they how syptoms like the regal tang ?

Not sure about the syptoms, but i do know they have one of the higthest mortality rates of marine fish, does it seem stressed at all, is it feeding and swimming normally.

seems to be fine this morning, just sat up in corner of tank tho will give him a cple of days to see if he settles .

hey,
if you mean hole in the head or lateral line erosion, they don't suffer from that to my knowledge. fair warning though copperbands are very hard to keep alive once they start showing stress symptoms

yep andrea you are correct. it passed away this afternoon. seemed fine one minute swimming around thought it had recovered. came home this afternoon and it was belly up.
