Posted New pumps and the fish are acting strange

I have put two new tunze pumps in the tank the fish are swimming very close to the pumps. Why is this ?

Whats your nitrate level like? Sometimes high nitrates will lead to gill flicking/headshaking.

Water changes really what sort of set up are you running if it is a reef you should run it on live rock only to avoid such a nitrate problem canisters just make the problem worse.
