25-10-2006 21:03 by clownloachlady	Hi My friends external is messing around, does anyone have a aquaone canister filter CF500??? she says its working but the outflow isnt working. Im thinking something is stoping the inflow pipe??? she has a record 96 tank and she's been struggling three days now! With me being on the other side of the country i cant help her!!! We normally have to shake the thing around to get the suction going.... Any ideas?????? Im worried her fish will get ill, told her to do a 25% water change a day till its fixed...

25-10-2006 21:08 by Ste	my aquamax 700 pro does that . it just wont self prime . i end up taking one of the outlets off and siphoning the old fashiond way then stick the pipe back leave it to fill up for a few seconds then turn it back on and it works fine

25-10-2006 21:12 by clownloachlady	just spoke to her and she did what ste said... its working now, told her to keep the outflow pipe out of the water. and she unlocked the container. sounds like it had an air gap or something...
