hi,how big are the fish, can you see if two are acting as a pair,it is usually pretty clear when they fancy each other, but in a large group others can try and get in on the action, typical pair behaviour is posing around each other and shimmering and shaking their fins, when ready to spawn they will clean a site and become aggresive to any other discus around them, can you post some pics?

at that size they can be pairing up,they can spawn at that size but not usually successfully, give them a few more months on good food to grow a bit more and you have a good chance of getting some pairs in a group of that size.

Alan it sounds like you have a young pair there, now you have to decide wether to put them in a tank on their own,or to leave them in the main tank.I have a pair just the same, they spawn but eat the eggs,I am leaving them in with the others until they are a lot bigger and would suggest you do the same unless they start to do real damage to the other discus.
