how many fish? |

hi
we have just set up a 450 litre tank and would like to know the max number of fish it could cope with when fully matured????

No body on this forum or anywere else for that matter can answer this. It all dependends on fish, feeding, filteration etc etc. You would be better telling us the fish you want and your pattern when looking after them ( feeding and maintanence etc) and then we can answer. |

i thought there may be a rough "rule of thumb" guide
ie 1 inch of fish per gallon?

no as paul and micheal said, its not as easy saying one fish per gallon, as some fish waste more than others. Furthermore a lot of factors depend on it as well, what kinda fish you got, filter system?
So tell us what have u got already and what if you could add any what would u add? |
