my tank is 70 gal including sump now realise that when i bought what they said would be enough rock wasnt i need around 5-10kg of extra rock but guy whos tank it was had 40kg in to give extra boast if i add rock all in one hit will i get a massive mitrite and ammonia curve or will it be ok spoke to stm he said to add 10kg in one hit as beetter to desturb tank oncce than twice what u guys reckon |

What have you got in the tank, i wouldn't add it all in one go as you will get spikes in ammo and nitrite and risk killing any livestock in the tank, i would add it very slowly about 2kg a week and keep a eye on paras.

liverock is its own filtration, whenu do get it it does spike the nitrates but it will also clean them out in no time at all, some ppl do add slowly i added 8 ish a few months ago to cure my nitrate problem n it worked fantastic |

stevo how big is tank when adding 6kg to it as if its large volume of water,it will dilute the mitrates and ammonia down sevral people say to add in one hit thinking about adding 20kg now of fully cured rock |

will it cause a spike as i have in tank regal tang yellow tang 2 percula clowns 2 purple firefish one mushroom rock one bubble coral and on finger coral dont wana lose anything |
