As some of you know i got a tilapia today i thought it was a Mozambique tilapia but ive been told its not.

They said it was some sort of talapia but they didnt no what one they only got it in dueing the week they didnt even have a price on it. |

It is not a tilapia - It is Fossochromis rostratus - Large (12" +) Halawili hap - needs lots of space but not overly aggressive. |

I agree rostratus and a male one at that really nice fish do get huge in the wild you get shoals of Crytocara Morii following them about as they sift through the substrate incidentally it is an open water fish so rock work is a hindrence when keeping these. |
