Can anyone recommend a good TDS meter ?
hand held?( i could keep a check on the tds from the filter and in the aquarium with this !)
i recently purchased a second hand Aquathin reverse osmosis system
carb 6 GAC Post filter
Carb 12 GAC Prefilter
RO pod (not sure what gallon per day !)
Deionisation Module
Preasureised storage tank and booster pump!
It was serviced in may by The Pure H2O Company Ltd. for a whopping £164.51..........and i bought it for £5 buy it now off ebay.
it looks to be a all singing all dancing filter with led lights !!!
I know people say dont get second hand but this was to good a bargin
even if i have to purchase a new Ro membrane.
SO WHAT TDS DO YOU ALL USE????
thanks

Any tds meter will do, they all do the same thing, the inline tds meters are good as you can constantly monitor the reading. also you cant use them in aquarium tank water. |

sticking it in the tank would just give you a massive reading because of all the fish waste and ect in the tank, tds meters are just for measuring the amount of disolved solids in ro water, which should be 0 with a DI filter as well

Hi,I bought mine from Osmotics about £18.00.You should use on the tank once you have set the water parameters to the level you want, rocks and substrate can alter the conductivity, and your meter will let you know if this is happening.
What fish are you making water for? |
