Today i was watching my 6-7inch lutino oscar and it was mouth locking with the tiger oscar and getting rammed by the other two and it was getting battered. So i've moved it in with the butty. There has been no conflict. They are both sat in a large plant pot together.
How long will it be able to stay in the tank before i have to get rid of it? Ihe tank is 39x16x12. There is a small tilapia and 5 clown loaches and a syno aswell. |

who can say mate see what happens, if u rearrange tank then they will have to set up new territorys as the butty as been in there the longest he might decide to have a pop at the oscar. |

There is no hard and fast rules. personally I would use a divider to avoid the risk of damage. Its your choice. What are you planning to do longer term, get a ndew tank for the oscar, or pass him on? |

they are fine, theres been no conflict and they are best of pals always swimming together. The butty used to hide a lot but he doesn't now. |
