Posted	Temperary Tank, How long?
05-11-2006 16:05 by AndreaC	Hi. I had a lovely 50 gallon tank set up, but It got broken, glass badly cracked. Luckly I had what you call a hospital tank. Though it had never been used but there incase a fish became ill and needed seperating. Anyway this tank is 10 gallon only and I have 5 fish. It has a stingray 15 pump in it and airstones. Im doing part water change every 6/7 dyas at 25%. How long will they be ok in this for? Im looking for a new tank now but cant find a resonably priced one at the moment unless I want to pay £300-£600. They are all doing ok in there at the moment but im looking to know how long they will last to be ok? Also does anyone have a link to where I can buy another 40/50 gallon tank please (uk gallons)

06-11-2006 08:11 by PaddyD	The only way to be sure is to test the water for nirites every couple of days - if thee is a reading, do a small water change.
06-11-2006 14:31 by AndreaC	Mikk, Im in Nottingham. Would need a lid top with it. Wow that is real good priced, where do i get that done? Im testing the water every few days and its staying good, part changing if there is a reading.
