hey ! ive got a femail kribensis and im thinkig about getting a male one this week. ive got big angel fish guppies n platies and a sword tail do you think the new male will be ok ? fnx x |

I used to breed and raise 100 kribs a month for sale to shops and for the first few months I bred them in a 4' community tank. The only fish you have that would be a concern would be the guppies. As for water parameters, if you have your water soft and acidic, any resultant fry will have a high ratio of females, if hard and alkaline, you'll have a higher ratio of males. HTH |

water parameters isnt really an issue Ryan, unless the Kribs are wild caught, and even then its debatable Ryan. Like everyone says it will be if they spawn, i would stick to females only tasha. A male Krib is capable of wiping out many small guppies and platies in the matter of a few hours if he chooses, |
