sturio light has very little to do with the hair algea problem as my lights run from 05h30-22h00 with a nightlight altough your tank goes through the maturing procces with different algea going through it but i did brush my algea every week with a toothbrush and a suction pipe connected to a powerhead with a stocking at outlet back to tank and ive used kalkwasser for about 6 weeks now and have been told that kalkwasser will get rid off nuisance algea and for preseverance it just started to dissapear last week after brushing my rock with a toothbrush but i do think it is the maturing going with kalkwasser that rid it and i also use waterlife seagreen for about 2 weeks now that says it get rid off hairalgea and could see the results almost straight away hope it help you as i was twice at the point off giving it up due to the algea

yse ive used it twice already whats happening is it have a growth promotor for the macro algea you need in your tank that bypass hairalgea bouht mine from e-bay for about £3 and it treats up to 1800 liters off water and contain no copper
