i feed my oscars raw tiger prawns and pellets, with the odd giant mealworm or locust,
any other suggestions? as they are getting bigger, around 10" |

get an ox heart from butchers, very cheap and last them ages |

no just chop it up and feed them , you will get loads of it so it needs to be freezed |

my oscar used to go beserk for bloodworm, i used to put in 4 frozen cubes, and he used to fit the whole lot in his gob, loads of it used to get lost though through his gills, which the ten parrot fish homed with him followed him around the tank eating from his gills |

in the last 2 months, my lutino oscar has eaten 2 tsn catfish 7", silver shark 5", small senegal bicher 5" |

i had a lonesome cordy in the tank that the oscar never touched, so in all my wisdom i went and bought ten more as i thought the oscar was ok with them ( a one off i thought ) i added the ten and he hunted them down and munched the lot only to leave the original one alone. |
