I am keen on getting a flame angel, but have heard some reports that they are heavy on the caulerpa in an aquarium.
Has anyone had experience keeping flame angels in a tank with cauperpa - and if they attack it as food too much. |

the Flame angels natural diet is mostly algae, so i imagine it would eat most of your caupera |

i would say being a cichlid the Angel does require some meat in its diet, you could supplement with bloodworms perhaps Yanton? |

steve, you have never seen a flame angel as red as this !
cichlid fury, i am talking about marine angels, not freshwater (so not a cichlid)

this is the closest colour i could find, mine is exactly this colour with those blue flashes on the fins.
it was tank raised in australia (and actually cost more than wild caught ones) |

ok, nice picture, strangely enough Yanton it does actually look like a cichlid, a Severum with a red light bulb inside it? |
