09-11-2006 19:34 by zalanz	I intend to add another external cannister filter to my malawi tank. To save messy pipework would it be feasible to join the outlets from both cannisters with a T piece so that only one delivery pipe [back to tank] is needed?
09-11-2006 20:44 by Ste	you have to consider the difference in power between the 2 filters Ie if one is more powerful than the other will it force water back into the other filter. Bearing this in mind i would go for running them both independently of each other

10-11-2006 11:25 by PaddyD	I would still rig them up sepearately as even if identical they may well clog up at different rates, especially as you probably would not clean both out on the same day (it is better to alternate the cleaning so one is done one month and one the next month in order to maintain maximum filteration.
