whitespot treatments! |

hi folks,my clown loaches have a bad touch of whitespot! ive turned up the heat,added recommended amount of "king british" treatment but all this did was kill off 3 clowns,can anyone suggest a clown loach freindly treatment please cheers terry |

alrite telboy..
you really need to try some melafix..
or if you cant get that.. crush up some garlic in to tiny bits and add it to the tank...

melafix is teatree oil imulsified in water for those that want to save the money. |

hello keith,received the package this morning,ill do a major water change + then try out ya magic mix ill keep ya posted!many thanks matey ps can ya recommend a general anti biotic from ya range as ive gotta pair of [cant remember name at mo]anyway they keep trying to jump outta tank + bang their nose on covers + have got sores so need to treat em to stop infection cheers terry |

telboy the king british did not kill your clown loach unless you over dosed. Clown loach when they get white spot can die easy enough. king british does contain a high dose of malachite green but all the same you will be well advise not assume the meds killed the clown loach after all they had white spot. you need to treat clown loach ASAP with white spot. as the white spot will kill them anyway you really have nothing to lose. go for a temp of about 86-88F and massive aeration plus some meds after all they are dead anyway if they have white spot that doesnt get treated |

hello ed how the hell are you fella? sonia thanks for input,but clown loach although suffering from w/spot were eating ,swimmingetc but within a day of adding treatment 2 were dead + 1 died 2 days later |
