after four days of being in my tank my newly aquired star polyp is still not come out and i am wondering if this is a problem how can i resolve it water is good every thing else is doing ok tests are all good i spent a good 3 hours acclimatizing it first. |

you only got one? maybe youve lost it, theyre verry tiny. Ok on a more serious note ive got some which only come out at night, maybe yours is one of these? |

its not been out at all been working late and getting up v early not seen it come out at all

i will give it a few more days then think about removing it and replaceing it somethings not right what lights ya using sturio |

using t5's at the mo ....was using 150w halides.....the polyps seem to prefer t5's (3white 1 blue)same with my xenia dunno y tho maybe someone else could explain |

have you got polyps in a strong flow of water ?
had to move mine few mnths ago as were being blasted by new pump and didnt come out for a while soon as i moved em to a more quieter spot came out after a day or so |

got mine in the middle of the tank not in great deal of flow my feather duster worm sits nearby and is not been blown about by any means ill try moving it see if that works cheers sturio |
