is it normal for a feather duster worm to move about in the tank i have 2 one is stationary and displays very well and the other moves constantly but always shows very well they both react the same when any fish go near them or i go in the tank to clean or anything. also i have started to get a lot of brown slime alge on the glass and rocks nitrates where slightly up so i have done a water change they are all good now as are the nitrites any ideas

the tank was properly due a waterchange as i also have the brown slime if i wait too long for a waterchange as for the feartherduster once it established a spot it is happy at it will stop moving around it only moves around in order to find a good spot

mine took about 2 weeks to reappear with a new grown and sadly the grown thats been kicked out will die as it cannot live without the tube it might appear like the tube is dead but thist be patient as the new grown will appear

it seems that my duster has settled down infact it couldnt get much closer to where i origionally put it they both seem happy they both feather out very well and shoot back in when my goby decides to visit them watching them now is quite amusing as the goby spies on them then waits till there out and goes to nudge them only to *** himself when they shoot in he will do this over and over again till hes bored or knackered. cheers for the info muddy
