Arapaima gigas juvenile by the look of it what a stupid fish to keep they can attain 13 foot in length and are not able to turn easily ultimatley to house an one of these you would need a tank about twice as wide as the fish is long just so it could turn round so an adult would need a tank 26 foot wide.

What a sensible fish to keep in an aquarium!

Oh I've just spotted there are 2 of them in there madness.

I do now of a tank big enough to house these link can be found on the following site under mega tank its basically 4 freight containers welded together.

The test run for the mega tank was a 4200 gallon miniature of the mega tank to refine the design.

Wayne are you asking about the biggest tank or p****

How and where would you put a tank the size of them in the picture

What size tank would you need to house a catfish?

Forget last question. I just been trying to look up about catfish and didnt realise how many types there are Thats all I can seem to find just types and nothing on how to care or house them.

big catfish like redtails and shovelnose fully grown would need at least 10 x 3 x 3 just to be able to turn round , and pangasis cats cannot be housed in less that a small lake when they are fully grown , as no doubt paul will put his pic up. lol on the other corys would only need a 2 ft tank , so find 1 that is compatable with your tank
