what r the benefits of using a ozoniser with a skimmer and what does it do.

The ozone breaks down fish waste and will kill pathogens ,it also oxidises fish wastes making skimming easier .Use an ozone reactor.

If you go on the sander website they have different sizes that start from 25mg per hour upwards.

I personally would stay with the ozone but read the instructions at least 3or4 times this is powerhouse gear that can wipe all your fish out in one swipe ,i think its around 15mg per100 litres an hour.

i wouldnt use it , not worring about your fish being wiped out , if its not do correctly then can wipe out your family , invest in another skimmer

Wayne the doses of ozone used are too small for humans ,look what happens after thunderstorms there is about a hundred times bigger more ozone in the air than gets pumped into a tank and we are still talking to each other,pumping through a skimmer or reactor is fine as long as you use ozone resistant material.
