I have been thinking about setting up an nano reef my tank is 46x30x35cm it holds 11 gallons i think the equipment i plan to use is as follows:
A big External filter that hold Three gallons which will have rowaphos, carbon and filter wool.
5-8 kg of fiji live rock
4-6cm deep sand bed
2-3x 15 watt marine white tubes
a heater obviously
R.O water
I want to keep:
1x pyjama wrasse
1x Clown fish
and some yellow polyps
I dont want to spend a load of money on any protein skimmer and i dont want one of them air driven internal skimmers so do you think this will work. |

ok, yeh go for as much rock as possible as its actually harder to maintain stable water in a small tank than large. the fish u want are ok thou maybe go for a pair of clowns as they prefer they own company. what type of clown were you thinkin of? |

i would still advise an airdriven skimmer if not at least some type of protein remover , use some polyfilter
yanton is running his with out a skimmer looks good so far |

ill us some polyfilter then because the air driven skimmers make the tank look ugly and take up to much room |
