08-12-2006 18:07 by webmaster	paul, the chat account is not linked to an IP as this is changed each time you connect to the web (for most people). impersonations were getting a problem, we had to tighten up security without overdoing the complexity.

08-12-2006 22:47 by webmaster	i noticed that some hotmail email address users do not verify the email sent out to them. i wonder if hotmail places the email in a trash folder, so its worth checking if you use hotmail. anyone getting issues can send an email to me at aqua@ukwebs.co.uk (after adding their chat account) so i can verify the email address, then I can manually activate them.
