ive recently purchased 2 seio 620 pumps and they dont seem to create much flow with the guard on, do ou guysrunte without them or should i get bigger pumps? they will be going in a 50 gallon marine set up? also is there anyway i can make a rock housing for them like tunze rock without the price tag?

You can't expect them to be as good as tunze for the price they are.

I have no complaints about mine though I run mine without the guard incidentally have you checked you have the flow setting right it may be closed.

mine are fine but running without the guard,the flow setting is the ring around the base of the "nozzle"it twists to open/close the aperature

PERSONALLY ID DITCH THE M820 AND GO FOR M1100 OR THE M1500 , AND FOR AN EXTRA £35 YOU CAN GET A NEW TUNZE 6060.
