Whats the nitrate and phosphate like cause is probably there the addition of the tang will of uped the bio load a fair bit in a nano. How big is your nano and what tang have you added? |

Hi Alan tang added is a brown tang,my nano is 18x18x18 inches, done another water change today, nitrate down to normal, like i said the tang i suspected might be the problem, lovely fellow very friendly will probably take out as not had any problems before. The only fish in there are 2 clowns and a humbug all only about an inch long.More interested in my corals. Will keep an eye out. Thanks again Alan for giving me some advice.Regards Neil. |

From memory the brown sailfin tang can get to 18" long it is one of the bigger tangs might be way off on max size but either way your tank is definately not big enough for a tang like this long term. |
