hi will a 250w 10,000k bulb be ok as a single bulb in my trigon 350 with 4 t8's

yes it will be more than fine, you may want to go to 14k as the 10k is abit yellow. |

so would it be ok to limit the usage of the halide to maybe 5 hours a day and the t8s on the rest ? |

yes but keep the halide high, and lower it slowly over the next month or so. |
