Until yesterday I have had no probs with the lighting, but noticed when all light were off last night that the blue light were still glowing at the ends as if they were still partially on. I tried switching them off at the controller but they stayed slightly lit. The only way to get them to totall switch off was to pysically unplug them from the mains. Anyone got any ides why this is happening?
thanks guys

This is common with tube lighting it is the gas that is in them but after a bit they do go out other than that you need new tubes.

you should try to have a nightlight for your fish as some fish do stress in total dakness a small l.e.d. to give a moonlight effect ive bought a small 6watt fluaressent at woolwurths for 4quid and its on a timer for nightime and big improvement is noticed in fishbehaviour i keep marines but use to have discus and they need a nightlight

Tubes are only a couple of months old. As long as it is normal then thats fine. Just didnt want tokill my tubes with them being on when they shouldn't be. They do seem to be going a bit black at the ends with them being partially on when they are off, if you see what I mean !!!
