I think this just goes to show that whatever you've been doing is fine and enough for corals and fish
I thjnk too many people tend to over-feed and then wander why our nitrate is off the scale?
If your corals are all healthy then why change what your doing? |

If it ain't broken don't fix it.
Do you feed your fish frozen foods? If so the corals will benefit from this too. |

I do something a bit odd with my tank I buy seafood mix from Tescos and throw it in a blender to that I add a couple of sheets of nori again from tesco's its the stuffed used to wrap sushi in. to that I add a feed supplement for the fish new era I think it is called I do about 40 squirts with this and I alternate the 3 variations I have. To that I add about 30 capfuls of marine snow about 15 capfuls of another coral food. Then I put the blender on.
This mix is then poured into ice cube trays and shoved in the freezer.
I feed half a cube a day to my 50 gallon reef to use it you have to defrost it in the frdge if you just throw in the stuff frozen it stays in a big lump.
Anyway my fish love it. |
