How will a gold severum fair with a texas cichlid? Will terrors or dempseys also be fine? |

well you have some of the well known aggressive fish there. i wouldnt want to be that severum. |

Depends a lot on size of fish,tanksize and how you stock it
I think if the fish are small enough to sart with and you stock em all at the same time you'll be fine for a while
The only time you will have real probs is if you have pairs forming
If your talking about Red Terrors (Festae)i would'nt include these as they can reach well over 12", even the females
Also the Texas are Central American species and would require different water conditions from the Souths |

As said above severums are not compatible with texas - just down to agression alone. Texas are much too aggressive.
I have to agree and disagree with daren, Yes you will be ok for a while - about 2 months I would say if they are small fish. But as they grow they will get territorial, even if they cannot pair up, these cichlids will defend a territory and hope a mate comes along. |

i have all the cichlids u have listed together and they r all fine my texas is about 6", dempsey about 5", 3 green terrors 3-5", and gold severum is about 6-7" and they all get on fine then only trouble i get is wid my dempsey and bigget green terror but nothing surious. |

My texas aren't that agressive, i've got them with geophagus, dollars, and a sajica. |

depends alot on size if small yes till there bigger if diff siz3s might be trouble |
