Ive just bought a marine set up with some live rock and I have one solitary anemone that has just appeared . It looks like a broccoli floret but is only about one inch tall . WHAT IS IT ? .

thanks nick , hopefully it will last till i find my camera as its sharing the tank with a 3 inch clown trigger and a 4 inch porcupine puffer . |

dont worry its not a manjano as they dont use zooxanthellate (symbiotic unicellular dinoflagellate algae, that lives in the tissues of many tropical animals, such as corals, sea anemones, soft corals, trinacnid clams, some sponges and some foraminiferans) if you turn your main lights off and leave the actinics on if it glows green your safe knowing its not aips or manj , hope that helps. |

yeah I think that helps trik , i got a lot to learn about these marines.
think i might just pop off and look up some of those words above.
