hello all,
just started to keep marine fish,
I am wondering what sort of lighting I should be using to get the best results for two clown fish and live rock?
all suggestions are welcome |

it depends on size of tank and future plans mate need good lights for coraline algae to grow |

the tank is only 24x12x15
I plan on putting a cleaner shrimp, blennie and maybe dependant on how good the setup becomes a regal tang |

do not put a Tang in a tank that size, you will have the Tang police on your case. |

its ok because in about a year I will be tranfering all the tank contents into a 60x24x24 tank

buy what your pocket allows, for the small a small t5 maybe nive and cheap, but when you get to the larger tank go for halide if money allows, as you tank will change with your knowledge about marine, rather buy once than a few times, HTH |

At that depth T8's would be sufficient.
I would hold off on the tang until you get the bigger tank and when you do get the bigger tank I would use this smaller one as a quarantine tank for the big set up. |
