Hi all, i have measured the background voltage in my marine tank ie from water in tank to earthpoint.

it measures; 24.8 VAC and 3.2 VDC

has anyone measured the voltage in thier tanks is mine high or low?

Has anyone seen for sale earthing equipment specifically for marine aquaria?

Thanks in advance LEE

Yes I have just got one off Ebay

* Marine fish keeping earthing probe - salt safe

What you have here is a earthing post/probe for a marine fish tank

I cant quite remember what it made of but i seem to remember that it was something like titanium or some thing like that. Its completely fish/coral safe and works perfectly.

These are really hard to get hold of and a complete nightmare if you want to cut it.... Its harder than a hack saw and thus a saw wont cut it very easily.

The reason i have attached a picture of the attached screw connector is to show that has corroded and the bar hasn't. the connector is only a bit of a block connector and thus very replaceable. *
