They seem to be pretty good. But it does rely on a standard biological filter, so it may be difficult to keep nitrates low.. Personally I would prefer to go with liverock filteration. As far as it goes it seems fine though,
Problems are obviously that it is small and although not too expensive, it not that cheap either - you could probably set up something bigger or at least better using liverock for the same money.
But for an easy non-skimping set up its ok. |
