A simple to use hang on aquarium gravel cleaner, incorporating a powerful water pump and an efficient filter bag made of micro-porous material to trap even the smallest of particles. By using this method of re-circulating the aquarium water, the aquarist is able to clean the gravel thoroughly without having to change/remove large amounts of water.

Looks ideal to me, ive got manual gravel cleaner which i use when i do wc's and it is time consuming but i agree with robert and think you would have to have a piece cut out of hood to make it fit, defo worth considering though |

Much cheaper to cut the bottom off a small soft drinks bottle, atacth some tubing to it, join this to the intake of a small powerhead, and on the outlet fix an old bit of tights, (or in your case Paul, stocking) to use to catch the particles (s**t) This doesn't work well if you have fine or sand substarte as it blocks up the PHead. |

I have one of these and dont rate it,I have sand so it jams, but also the bag clogs up and lets loads of cloudy water back into the tank, might be ok with gravel though,in a shallow tank. |
