I have got whitespot in my tank with 2 fish already died and my black and white clown fish has now got a milky film over him. Have been using Myxazin for the last 4 days and it doesn't seem to be helping. Any advice on what else i can try? |

Run through how and what you have been doing when using the myxazin.. |

You will need to raise the tank temprature to around 29 0r 30 degrees to speed up the cycle of the whitespot as the treatment is only effective against it in the free swiming stage,
it will take multiple treatments to rid your tank of this.
good luck |

I have been using half dose twice daily, the skimmer is off and the carbon filter has been taken out and did a water change before starting. |

are u running a uv and protien skimmer when treating as if u r these will remove any treatments, the milky film could be were its body is trying to protect its self, ive had spot in the past and is really hard to shift in marines. |

just make sure they are eating well , and add some kent garlic extrem , most marine fish if eating well and healthy will get through it.My regal gets it from time to time and very bad even with 50w of uv, you only have to say BOO to her and you can see the white spot appear, lol |
