Question on Heater |

Hi. I have the clearseal heater in my tank. Not much info comes with it for an idiot like like me lol, infact clearseal products never seem to have much info!
Anyway on what info that is there it saya make sure you fill tank water to max water level mark indicated on heater. I did this and unless I lower my water level dramatacly I cant get the hood back on the tank as the top part of heater sticks right up. Now the shop said the heater is fully submergable but im weary as the instructions say max water level which is top of the glass. It wouldnt have a max level would it if its fully submergable??
So am I being thick and it can be completly submerged, black top and wire like an internal filter or am I right by going by the max water level line thing??
It would be ideal if it could go lower with wire being able to go under water as I could get hood back on tank. If not I suppose I will just have to get one that can be fully submerged.
Hope all this is understandable as I think Im still drunk from last nights vodka lol. |

Ahh ok. Its just confusing me with saying fill water to max water level which leaves the black top and wiring completly out the water Electrical stuff scares me lol. |
