what heaters will we need for a 6x2x2, we have 2 external filters for it and 1 300w heater ,will it require another 300w heater |

300w heater should do it ok, ive got 2 heaters in mine both 300w and i have turned one off cos the temp was going up too much |

depends what external filters you are using, 1 tetratec could keep that clean, i know darren was selling one for 50.00 |

I have 1 300watt heater in my tank and 1 cannister but it depends howmany gallons ya cannister does .mines 6x2x2 like the one u r getting. |

Two x 300 watt heaters are best for a 6 foot tank as one alone has to work almost continuously to maintain the heat.
By having one at each end the heat crirculates far better and you avoid cold spots in the tank. The other added bonus being if one stops working, you've still got some heat |

if ya put heater next to filter the outflow will circulate heat much better |

A 400watt heater will do the job no problem at all , i have 3 of them running my 500gallon system at a constant 26c/78f and as calv said , at £26 you cant go wrong save your cash and your electric bill |
