im after a couple of tank mates for my mbu,anyone got any ideas on what ciclids are possible tankmates.

well the only fish i would put with mbu are large catfish which the mbu cant eat and cant get eaten by the catfish

Most cichlids will mix fine, nothing too aggresive though. Peacock bass are nice but will get to over 2 foot but thats no problem if you have a mbu. Had mine in with clown loach, stingray, siamese tiger, gar, fire eel, giant gourimi, L number plecs to over 12", peacock bass, various cichlids, various catfish.

As ive told you before its all down to the mbu, they are all diferent. The other option is to keep it with tetra's or other small fish it wont be able to catch.
