Hi. Ive been offered off a person I work with 2 of these. Anyone got them and can tell me best way to keep them. I know do the research but this is one of the fish that each sites I look on tell me different things, whcih are a big difference, so now im confused as to whether the ok for my tank. I have mollies, neons, cory pandas, penguin tetras.
Thought id ask as there going free if I want them as he is changing the type of fish to more agressive ones.
My main concerns are the PH and and hard water range, these are what vary on different sites. |

Whats your pH and water hardness? As far as tank mates its ok, and if the tetras and corys are healthy I dont see why the rams wouldnt be ok in the same water. |

They will be in qaurenteen. How long do you reckon I should keep them in for?? The tank they came from is a real healthy tank. |

andrea i replied on ya killer thread, but just noticed this 1 were the rams in the tank when ya noticed the dead fish? as this may be the reason, rams afterall are cichlids, and can be aggressive little swines |

No there not. There in a 2 foot qaurenteen tank and I only got them this morning.
Ohh dont tell me now that when I do add these they can attack other fish I read though there cichlids they are very peaceful and are all mouth rather than taking action.
I asked if these 2 would be ok to have with my fish so far and was told yes. Should I have second thoughts?? |
