I have been told that they are slow eaters so realy need to be either on their own or with slow fish. |

from what I have been told, seahorses need feeding without fail as they will starve if they miss a feed. It is preferable to keep seahorses on their own as the water quality is essential for them and will be easier to keep right for their needs without other fish in... Well thats what I was lead to believe anyway! |

zero fish as the fish will grab the food before the seahorses can get to it all public aquaria keep seahorses on their own as well as the private fishkeeper should do a smaal nano with seahorses on their own will be a perfect setup |

seahorses should ideally go in a species tank however suitable tank mates would be pipefish and mandarins as they are also slow feeders it should also be noted that sea horses are notoriously difficult to feed.
I note by your multiple posts johnny b that you don't seem to have really decided what you want may I suggest you sit down and seriously think what a 125 litre marine tank is capable of I would consider your tank to be verging on nano in terms of marine so you may have more joy if you go down nano reef guidelines take a look at the www.stm-shop.co.uk website and look at the nano tanks they sell this should give you an idea of what can be achieved with your tank.
The biggest fish I would put in your tank would be a coral beauty everything else would be smaller. |

dragonets actually inhabit similar habitat to sea horses so are ideal both are found in sea grass areas not on coral reefs. |
