good evenin guys and gals. iv jus done sum tests on my tank and wanna kno what i shud be aimin for. i tested ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, ph, general hardness and carbonate hardness. i kno ammonia and nitite shud be at zero which thankfully they were but what about the rest??

nitrate in an ideal world 0 but any thing under 10ppm
phosphates 0
ph 8.1/8.4
alk 600 ish
kh 7dkh
calcium 350/400ppm
dissolved oxygen 6/7ppm
redox potential (orp) 350 mv

alk should be between 3 and 5 meq/l not sure what your on about trik calcium in a reef should ideally be above 400 generally speaking in reefs the calcium level in the sea is about 420 ppm. I maintain calcium at about 450-500 ppm as test kits have a variance of plus or minus 50 ppm.
