Hi all, I am new to reef keeping and am thinking of putting the followig fish together, with the inverts that I have listed. Are there any on the list that will not go together?
1.Hi fin Goby 2. Royal Gamma 3. Yellow Tang 4. Flame Angel 5. Blue Sapphire Damels 6. Black clowns I aim to have loads of inverts as well 1.Blood red fire shrimps 2. Hermit crabs 3.Serpant sea stars 4. Colony polyps super coloured 5. Toadstool mushrooms 6. Devils Hand 7. Cabbage coral 8.Starburst Polyp 9. Turbos 10. Feather Dusters Any advice would be great. Not familiar with blue saphire damsels but as a rule avoid them in a reef aquarium as they will smash up their tank mates.
The only damsel I would consider suitable is the peaceful shoaling neon/green chromis you would need at least 4 of these. Also as you are new to reef keeping scrub the tang and the flame angel. Instead go for a fox face (much hardier relative of tangs still yellow) and a coral beauty again much hardier and cheaper than the flame angel it is purple and orange in colour. The coral beauty should be the last fish in as it is the most aggressive and territorial. With the clowns go for tank bred they are much hardier. |
