23-03-2007 09:35 by Alan	Surely brackish is anything between fresh and full marine which is 35 ppt sorry just being pedantic. Also of note is the fact brackish conditions will vary with the tide in nature although I'm not quite sure how you could replicate that. I would go for a salinity of about 15-20 ppt but I would check specifically on the fish I wanted to keep by looking at habitat information on www.fishbase.org I would advise measuring the salinity with a refractometer and use a good marine salt.
