08-04-2007 18:00 by AndreaC	At last I found fry thismorning after what seems my mollie has been pregnant for ever lol. I have found 10 only and managed to net 7, there in breeders net. Other 3 I cant catch, cant even find them now so dont know if they have been eaten yet lol. The neons seemed to be the ones chasing them but the fry are real fast and good hiders. Have to say i was surprised there is only 10, I bet there was more but they got ate!! Her tummy isnt any smaller either, how long do they give birth for? Went to fill my little 5 gallon tank up I have for fry tanks and its no good, cracked and leaking, so with it being bank holidays they will have to manage in a breeders net until tuesday. So, as this is my 1st ever fry what do i feed them?? I crushed some flaked food up and offered them that but they havent shown interest.

10-04-2007 19:41 by mollie73	My mollie gave birth to babies about 5 weeks ago and they were much smaller than that. Having said that she gave birth to a lot more. We managed to save 27 and put them in a little fish hatchery, but we saw 6 get eaten by the glowlight tetras, so goodness knows how many she did have!! She's now pregnant again and about to give birth any day now!
10-04-2007 20:08 by Nick G	Andrrea Nip out tomorrow and get some powdered food for fry, ZM do it as well as Tetraminbaby (I use this one). You only need the tiniest amount as it really does go a long way!!
