21-04-2007 17:13 by paul stevens	I got a multimedia text on my mobile from trik today and need i say it wasn't a pretty sight trik went outside to a disturbance on Thursday night and got hit round the head from behind and knocked out cold then got set op-on by some yobs and put in hospital.... But I've spoken to trik this morning and he is on the mend just a bit black and blue to say the least. But i would like to send him all the best and get well soon buddy and i think every one will wish you the same mate. PS don't send him flowers just things that will go in his tank will do fine....:)
21-04-2007 17:19 by wayne	you beat me to it just got off the phone with him not long , how inconsiderate are these people , they dont realise how the disturb and upset peoples lives (trik was supposed to be coming round to mine tommorow to give me a hand with some tanks),only kidding on a serious note , the man is self employed and needs to earn his crust , now he has to take a bit of time off , i hope they get caught , on my site allaquatics.co.uk we were arranging a meet up , and we were trying to work out where to meet , i think we all should climb into pauls 7 seater and go on a HUNT for these little cowards , and give them a kicking over you,ve got my name down, paul why havent you put it on our forum

21-04-2007 21:26 by SomethingFishy	please make sure he is aware that if no one is charged with his assault he is entitled to compensation under the criminal injury's compensation act (CICA) i can recommend a very good solicitors firm if this is the case (I do work for this firm but im not a lawyer) DO NOT USE A CLAIMS FARM FIRM
21-04-2007 22:01 by wayne	yeah trik dont use of of those people who say" have you been injured, not your fault then you entitled to claim compensation , i dont trust them HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED THE ALWAYS ALWAYS WALK IN FROM A 45 DEGREE ANGLE , BUT NO WIN NO FEE , SO IF YOU WIN YOU COULD GET 2,000 POUNDS THEN THIER BILL WILL BE 2,500 QUID , NOT WORTH IT

21-04-2007 22:19 by SomethingFishy	Wayne that would be illegal i honestly dont want to get into a debate about the "ethics" of the compensation culture it pays my wages so i would be foolish to (I work in IT btw) But that is what the claims farms did for many years and some dodgy ones still do. The no win no fee is exactly that if they dont win then they pay ALL YOUR COSTS if you win the other side pays you the amount the judge orders then they get there fees on top of that paid by the other side not the claimant. Im one of the most cynical people you will meet and i didn't understand or trust it until i started to work for the firm but it is all pukka. Ste yes you can claim yourself but i guarantee a solicitor will get you a better/fairer amount than a self processed claim they know all the angles and tricks. Please dont shoot me down it pays my bills

21-04-2007 22:41 by Ste	But i have to add, My partner used a no win no fee company for an industrial accident , after fillin all the forms in , she discovered that the company had taken a loan out in her name to pay for the costs , and at the end of the case the compensation was barely enough to pay back the loan . let alone give her any compensation . it should be outlawed , along with any other organisation who prey on poor unsuspecting individuals to make themselves rich.

Just think of all the flies the rotten fruit would attract not to mention the horse excrement that they should have rubbed into their faces. Cow dung would be better actually!
