Just bought a d&d ro unit off ebay,came with all pipes already in,can anybody tell me which is the good water and which is waste,i have a red and a blue pipe,as water is coming through both,many thanks.

your r/o water will flow much slower than your waste water.your best bet is to get a tds meter then you can check your water for when you need new cartridges

blue is good water i would test it if the unit is second hand might need new cartridge

nelly on my filter the good water comes out the middle/end of the canister and the waste is slightly to one side!

pipes can easy be replaced so i wouldnt reccomend identifying pipe just by colours! as john says go with the slower flow being the good water ! and flush plenty of water through the new membrain to wash the aunti bacterial solution /preserver that new membrains come in !
