Anyne have any ideas where i can buy Kio fry?
going to put them in a 2x2x2 tank indoors till my pond is ready later this year, buy then hopefully they will be just big enough to go in with the other fish.

im having a go at breeding mine again this year, last year i just left them at it and left all the eggs in the plants, this year ill intervine and remove any egg laden plants, if i do manage to get any this year there all yours |

make large spawning mops because then u could take the whole thing out and get loads more fry. oh by the way what sort of size do normal goldfish become mature at |

they can breed at around 6inch some smaller some bigger, depends on the breed |

cos ive got a shebunkin i bred and its getting teburcules on its gills. one of the others is fattening up so im thinking its a female |

cheers woz thats a nice offer, i'll wait to hear. Thanks Paul, sold all my marine kit to Linda and nigel and now working towards my koi pond. With the help of good old nigel! who has loads of good tips and loads of useful equipment to get you out the ****. Looks like i'm going halfs on some Kio fry with nigel..... nice one fella!!!

im just been keeping a close eye on them over the last few weeks, so far i havent noticed any spawning attempts, but i do hope they will, they went that crazy last year when spawning i noticed it from the back room window, and the pond is down at the bottom of the garden...anyway im going to be checking the pond everyday for the next few months, and if i have any look ill let you know...if i do get any, as stated they are all yours if you want them for nowt, as i dont have the facilities to raise them up, i gave away two tanks to cichlidrouse( mark ) the other week, just so i dont get the urge to set any more up, you see fish keeping is an addiction, worse than any drug and you just cant be cured |
