if you can afford it then calsuim reactor is your best bet for a more stable marine tank

i dont add calcium or any other additive such as mag or ph buffer, all i use is a deltec kalkwasser stirrer on my auto top up.

there is a lot off speculation wich is best kalkwasser or calsiumreactor and some use them together altough if you use a kalkwasser then you dont need a calsuimreactor or to add calsium as long as you do you weekly waterchange as the waterchange will bring your calsiumreading up and the kalkwasser keep your calsuim at that level wich means your calsuim should be vety stable

Depends on the size of the tank and calcium and carbonate demand.
