you can pick up babys around £1.00-£2.00
aquatic shops range from £4.00 upwards! our local shop had some for £15 each ( over priced i think!)
you need to decide what you want mollie
option 1 a single fish for algie control
option 2 a older pair if you want to try breeding them later?
option 3 a handfull for a fiver and see what you get |

My lfs is selling some for £16.95 and i thought they were the bog standard ones and well over the top in price!!
I think i want 2, but obviously it depends on what size they grow to!
I thought the bog standard ones didn't get too big. |

still havent got mine to breed yet, even with 1male and 5 girlies for him, he dont seem to be very interested, youd have thought he would have been like a kid in a sweetshop...ive heard that some males are very reluctant to breed whereas others wont stop so maybe i have a duff....anyway ill give him a few more months and if he doesnt produce the goods, ill swop him tanks and get a new one |

woz how big is ur male? if poss get a large c0ckle shell,if needed break of bits to make the hole in shell wider. then do a 50% water change and add just COLD WATER and hey ho away u go, my bristles breed at about 2inches. if u need any further advice then get in touch. feed em cucumber to feed up females. nothing he can do untill she decides to lay |
